NPM assists Native stations with FCC and CSG compliance to ensure they stay on-air and qualify to receive their full CSG payments. The Program Core, includes, but is not limited to:

  • Guidance on the General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria of the CSG program, both financial and nonfinancial

  • Compliance alerts to the Native radio network

  • Email reminders of required CSG filings to individual station clients

  • Technical support to assist with FCC and CSG filings

  • Training and education to improve the station’s performance

  • Regular consultation with the CPB and SAC to obtain updated information about station compliance or other arising issues

  • Assistance with regulatory and other station system-wide issues as needed


CSG Native Stations Transition to Satellite/Terrestrial Receivers 


Affiliates, including CSG qualified Native stations, of the Public Radio Satellite System (PRSS) are in the process of completing a major receiver switchover as part of a major PRSS system change.
