NPM President to Serve as Judge for Crystal Radio Awards

WASHINGTON, DC – Each year the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) accepts nominations from member radio stations for the NAB Crystal Radio Awards. Ten radio stations will receive this prestigious award in recognition of their extraordinary year-round community service efforts and will be honored during the 2019 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Because of her experience and commitment to public service, Loris A. Taylor, Native Public Media President & CEO, was invited to join NAB’s prestigious selection academy and will help judge the station finalists for the annual NAB Crystal Radio Awards.

“I am deeply honored to serve as a member of the NAB selection academy. There are so many radio broadcasters that are doing an incredible job of promoting service initiatives through their broadcast facilities and they ought to be lauded for their impactful community service and engagement. It’s going to be a tough gig but I am looking forward to the opportunity,” states Taylor.
