Raul Aguilar Jr., Joins Native Public Media as Director of Operations

Native Public Media (NPM) announces the appointment of Raul Aguilar Jr. as its Director of Operations, effective November 3, 2023. As Director of Operations, Aguilar will oversee and optimize the organization's internal workings to ensure efficient, effective, and mission-driven operations. NPM welcomes Aguilar’s leadership in managing the organization's operations and the continued success of NPM’s programs.

Raul brings abundant knowledge and experience to his role at Native Public Media. He boasts an impressive educational background, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Master of Arts in Education, Policy, and Leadership.

Before joining NPM, Raul served as the Senior HR Consultant and Recruiter for When I Work, overseeing the recruitment process for different positions and serving on the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Team. In this role, he led and managed recruiting efforts, collaborated with hiring managers, and developed and implemented recruiting best practices.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Raul possesses an amazing background in community and tribal leadership. He has proudly served on the Minnesota American Indian Graduation Committee, the Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color, and the Latino/a/x Faculty and Staff Association.
