Renowned Diné Radio Sportscaster LA Williams to Speak at 2023 Native Broadcast Summit

Native Public Media proudly announces LA Williams as a featured speaker at the 2023 Native Broadcast Summit. Williams, a Hall of Fame inductee in the North American Indigenous Athletics Media Category, is a renowned Diné radio sportscaster and basketball player.


Williams has a long-standing career in sports, both on and off the court. In 2008, she was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame for her outstanding contributions to the sport. Williams has also been an educator and activist, advocating for Native American athletes and their representation in sports.


During her time at KTNN, Williams was known as "The Voice of Navajo Sports," where she provided listeners with insightful commentary and analysis.
