FY2018 Compliance Priorities – Training Requirement and SAS Submission

To maintain compliance with your Community Service Grant (CSG) agreement with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), grant recipients should be aware of the following FY2018 compliance priorities:

 

Station Activity Survey (SAS)

The annual 2017 SAS is available for completion by February 15, 2018. It is imperative that CSG stations complete the SAS survey in order to receive the second payment of your station’s Community Service Grant. In addition, SAS data is used to calculate the next fiscal year’s Community Service Grants for grantees.

To complete the 2017 SAS, visit the CPB website at https://www.cpb.org/stations/sas/. If needed, extensions are possible and can be request through your ISIS portal.

Webinar Training Requirement

Stations that have not yet taken a CPB-hosted webinar training are highly encouraged to register for an upcoming trainings to fulfill your station's FY2018 training requirement:

Title:      Introduction to Financial Reporting to CPB

Date:     Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Time: 2:00 - 3:30 PM EST 

 

Title:      What is NFFS?

Date:     Wednesday, February 14, 2018, Time: 2:00 - 3:30 PM EST 

 

Title:      Completing the FSR

Date:     Wednesday, February 21, 2018, Time: 2:00 - 3:00 PM EST

 

NPM will support your station in completing this annual requirement, and will ensure that attendance of your stations is verified with CPB. For this reason, once you have registered, please send notice to Elyse at edempsey@nativepublicmedia.org with the following information:

 

• Name(s) of training(s) that your station will register to attend

• Names of individuals registered to attend each training
