COVID-19 Public Outreach Campaign

Dear Native Public Media Member Stations,

At NPM, we value our relationship with all our radio stations.  Therefore despite the present state of National emergency, we continue to support your critical efforts.

To that regard, NPM established the COVID-19 Public Outreach Campain.  We invite your station to participate in the campaign by providing public awareness through on-air and off-air activities.

The term of the campaign is April 13 - June 30, 2020.

Outreach activities can include broadcasting public service announcements, news reports, conducting interviews or public affairs programming. Off-air activities can include attending local community meetings regarding the coronavirus; and disseminating information from health facilities, tribal governments, law enforcement, hazard management, or tribal, state, national, and/or international health agencies. Public outreach activities posted on the station’s website or social media, or outreach through mail, email listservs and phone are acceptable.
